2.When I was a kid I was alway made fun of because I didn't know how to read like the other kids in my classes. I felt so embarrassed and was scared if I was chosen to read in front of the class because I was tired of being made fun of. When I was growing up I struggled on reading and writing, but my mom would always push me on learning how to read and going well on my school work. She is the reason why I push myself in my education, she always tells me she wants me to become someone that matters in life and not be a nobody living on the streets. The way I have worked to overcome the education barrier of mine was to talk to my teachers. I was put in a support class that allowed me to read more fluently , but i still struggle on some big words I don't know how to pronounce. Sometimes I like to read to my little sister so I can get better and teach her how to read. Now I am more involved in class reading, I no longer get as embarrassed and scared when I have to read.I ever since the day my mom has told me she didn't have the opportunity to go to college and having the education she wanted, I tried to do my best in school so I can get a college diploma and make my mom proud of me.
3. When I was an incoming freshman in high school one of my friends asked me to try out for the football team for school, so I did. Ever since that that day I have loved the sport. Once practice for football was over I would stay after every day and do extra work so I could become the best player on my team. What I would consider my greatest talent is being the best offensive lineman and defensive lineman on the football team. I would thank my beast friend for this talent because he is the reason I entered the football team and played those position on the team. Over the past 4 years of my football career I was motivated by my coaches; they would always push me every day and every night so that I could become the beast on the field. The things they have change are me being more aggressive and focused on my achievements on becoming the beast. Another thing that has changed was the way I played. I got injured with a concussion and hurt my knee. After those injuries I was not able to play like my usual self; I was weaker on my knee and I was so scared to get hit on my head. Over the time I was trained harder than I had ever before so I could get back in shape and be as strong and good as i was before. Now I am one of the strongest lineman on the team and all my teammates respect me.
